A popular method of forcing a businessman to cooperate with an armed gang was shown on tonight's episode of Crimewatch. An armed gang forced their way into the residence of the owner of a precious metal company. While some of the gang held the mans children hostage at home the other half of the gang took the father to his business premises. With threats to kill his children he had no option but to cooperate and open safes etc.
A highly effective method for criminals who would have carried out extensive Hostile Surveillance on the victim.
