Members are cordially invited to attend the inaugural BBA Association and Networking event. This event is free of charge, though members are advised to reserve their seats early as they will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. The evening promises to be a memorable affair with guest speakers, notable industry professionals, and of course, your fellow members in attendance. During the formal proceedings you will have your chance to direct questions you may have to the BBA Team and voice any opinions on industry or association matters. There will be a licenced bar in operation throughout the course of the evening and food will be served during the social/networking period. This is a great opportunity for you to experience the true benefit of being part of a membership organisation and meet your fellow members.

Guest speakers include - 

Anna Averikou - Speaking on how to deal with the media in a security-related environment.

Anna draws on more than 25 years’ experience as an international journalist with news organisations such as the BBC, CNN, ABC, Reuters and Associated Press TV – often working in hostile environments.  


Alex Bomberg - Speaking on Counter Espionage in protection of your client.

Alex has been involved in the security industry since leaving the army in 1997. Working for clients across the world; from Governments / corporations to individuals. In 2002 Alex started International Intelligence Limited and since has become an international commentator in the media on security, protection and espionage issues, featuring within the news, publications and TV documentaries.


Mike O'Neill - Speaking topic of the Modern Bodyguard.

Mike has been involved in the Security Industry since leaving the British Army in 1990. He is the Managing Director of Optimal Risk Management, a Chartered Security Professional (CSyP) and is currently the Chairman of the BSIA’s Specialist Services Section.
