Ted, seriously I have no military background so this helps a lot. I'm still deciding whether to try and enter this world from my current police profession.

According to our company, GPS is now a banned item and electrical goods can be taken off you at checkpoints.
Saying that i have all the electrical kit and so far havent had anything taken.

Chris.

Think you ve got most of the base s covered Ted,

One important piece i carry with me is my A4 Nyrex which is left in the vehicle with all company sop s, maps ,client briefs etc.
Some guys just use folders but i find the Nyrex very handy for all the loose paperwork you end up having to carry as well,

Chris.
