Intel on Vesper Group
Vesper Group is the only company that provides security services to the Swedish Diplomatic missions.
It is directed by 2 ex Swedish SF operators , Richard Dittmer and Mikael Svenssion.
The Vesper Group has the contract with the Swedish Ministry of Foreign affaires since 2008 and provides protection and security to the 4 more exposed Swedish Embassies. (Khartoum, Baghdad, Islamabad, Kabul)
Foundes in 2004, Vesper used to be called Scandinavian Special Projects and was directed by Gunnar Björklund who served in the SIG (Särskilda Inhämtningsgruppen)
(Special Reconnaissance Group, SIG) was one of the two Swedish special operations units and was created in 2006, when it broke out of the Parachute Ranger School Fallskärmsjägarskolan. The exact number of operatives were classified but is thought to have been between 50 and 70, with an average age of 30. SIG was deployed for clandestine surveillance and reconnaissance. The aim was to gather intelligence on activities, certain individuals, or anything of strategic importance. The difference between SIG and more regular ISTAR and reconnaissance units was that missions undertaken by SIG were more dangerous. Missions undertaken by SIG required its operators to covertly infiltrate and move inside hostile territory for long periods without detection.
In 2008, Mikael Svensson, who also served in the SIG and who spent 4 years in the British company Saladin, took on the Vesper Group with Rickard Dittmer, ex Swedish SF.

Re: Intel on Vesper Group
There should be another company founded by a Swede in Afghan, ex-swedish SF, ex French Foreign Legion GCP (Jack S). Who they work for I have no idea.

Re: Intel on Vesper Group
Ive worked 14 months for Vesper in kabul. There are some issues like with most companies. Cant say anything to negative here though however there are some operators on the ground with no cp training or Little or even no cp experience what so ever. Jack works for Vesper but in Stockholm these Days (Heard he was called home) there are also a concern since Vesper have been charged with smuggling weapons from Sweden. What happends out of that is not yet certain.
