659 Companies to send your CV too, at least one should take you on....(Updated list June 2013)

Something I find remarkable with the ICOC signatory company list is that out of 659 roughly estimated 600 are Maritime security Providing AND training company's.

What conclusion to draw from it?

In regards to Rikards point, I can think of two possibles. 1) The Maritime companies prefer to train their own operators to a certain standard and to ensure they are all 'singing from the same page'. 2) There is as much/more money to be made from running training courses than actually operating on the ground (sea!). I'll leave it to you to decide between 1) and 2)

Edit: If I have misinterpreted Rikards point and his observation is the majority of the companies on the list are Maritime then this may be due to more red tape involved when operating at sea, in particular Rules Of Force.
