Expert (m/f) Corporate Security (Event Security & Executive Protection) in Group Operations
Job Purpose/Role

Corporate Security (CS) is part of the Department Group Operations of Allianz SE in Munich. Its role and responsibilities include the identification of potential security risks and the protection of Allianz employees, processes, information and infrastructure. CS ensures the continuity of critical businesses and functions and provides permanent assessment and continuous supervision of the global security situation as well as of business-specific and individual risks. Thereby CS makes sure that any business breakdown may not arise or - if in any case - emergency plans enable the continuity of the business and minimize risks for our employees and the company.

The team Event Security and Executive Protection is part of Corporate Security. It provides a safe and secure environment for high class events and top level executives and is characterized through strategic-conceptual and operational tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitoring and analysis of the security situation nationally and abroad as a base of adequate security consultancy
  
• Monitoring and analysis of all Allianz-related security events worldwide and providing specific security advice as a basis for business decisions
  
• Providing individual security advice for Board members and departments
  
• Planning and execution of assessments and security inspections at sites worldwide (event locations, hotels, Allianz subsidiaries, private grounds), including security related countries
  
• Set-up and implementation of integrated security concepts for protected persons
  
• Set-up and implementation of integrated security concepts and operation of security measures at national and international events
  
• Leading projects within your own area of responsibility
  
• Armed operations nationally and internationally at times
  
• Building, maintaining and updating internal and external contacts to authorities and companies to ensure the collection of reliable information (security network)
  
• Staff-training in security-conscious behavior
  
• Execution of market observation and benchmarks
  
• Set-up standards, regulations and processes
  

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience
Qualifications

• Proficiency in main MS Office Programs
  
• Very good knowledge of German and English (spoken and written); further language skills appreciated
  
• Correct certificate of good-conduct; certificate of an official security check would be a plus
  
• Willingness to conduct worldwide business travels, also to high risk countries
  
• University degree would be a plus
  
• Driving license class B
  

Experience & Key skills

• At least 4 years of professional experience in the security business with operations in low to high level risk regions (in this context the exercise of security related functions)
  
• Preferably Military or Police background
  
• Work experience in the implementation of security analyses and concepts as well as in the operation of personal security (in-depth close protection experience)
  
• High degree of personal flexibility and resilience
  
• Work experience abroad appreciated
  
• Investigative experience appreciated
  
• Analytic and strategic skills
  
• Outstanding presentation and communication skills
  
• Strong customer orientation
  
• Team player, flexibility and ability to work under pressure, assertiveness
