Getting your visa for Saudi Arabia - More than you think!
Tasheel IT- Djeddah
Tasheel IT is part of Zuhair Fayez partnership.
http://www.zfp.com/desktop.php
Tashel Information Technology was in 2002 at the top of a massive change and rearrangement of the whole of the Saudi Arabia government IT system in partnership with Microsoft and also carries out work for various other governments.
The company works for various Police and Intelligence agencies in the Gulf states.
The Lebanese company called Softech is part of Tasheel.
(There is also a visa company called Tasheel in the UAE but it doesn't seem to be connected to Tasheel IT)
You may want to think twice about posting things on open source that are a little anti islam or anti Saudi Arabian….
Tasheel IT works directly for the Saudi Government and the Saudi border Police/ Customs.
It conducts investigations on all Visa requests.
Tasheel will conduct a thorough background check on all foreigners travelling to Saudi Arabia, and it developped software called Osint Monitor and PeopleMon.
Everything you do online will be looked at, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Web pages, forums, blogs….
This research is added to the other things and compared (Blacklists, Interpol, Criminal background checks, past medical history)
If you are a trouble causer and very "political", chance is you won't get your visa.
PeopleMon also integrates with programs built by Amesys (Advanced Middle East Systems) .
Amesys has software called Eagle which is specialised in DPI Deep Packet Inspection that monitors online communications across the country, and now the new software called Cerebro that features a search interface inspired by google, this software simplifies the work of analysts by allowing them to simply execute queries that used to be very complex.
For example searching for a keyword or an attachment sent that contained a keyword, between such and such a date. It can store billions of elements and information.
Cerebro monitors GSM and satellite networks, as well as billing data held by phone providers.
Cerebro can also break 3G and send a fake sms to a target mobile.
Emails and SMS's will also be looked at and they would have determined even before you arrive if you have a contact already there.
Tasheel holds profiles , it then sells this information to other governments and private companies and the Tasheel database is specialised in citizens of the middle east.

Tasheel Information Technology (Tasheel) came into existence in 2012 after the successful consolidation of two of the leaders in information technology [Zuhair Fayez Partnership – Information Technology (ZFP-IT) and Saudi Software & Networking Company (SoftNet)].
The joint forces of these two companies amplified its capabilities and competitive strength in providing advance and superior range of IT products and services.
Through the combined technical skills and efforts of its certified professionals and support personnel, Tasheel is shifting its gears to greater efficiency in delivering world class service to all its clients in the private and government sectors primarily in the Middle East region.

Some Open source Intel on Amesys:
Amesys sold its EAGLE spyware to Libya while Muammar Gaddafi was still in power.
It was used to spy on journalists and human rights activists there. As a result, the company is now being sued in France by the International Federation for Human Rights (FIDH) for complicity in torture. The lawsuit is still pending.
The company
Originally called i2e, Amesys is a French firm specializing in information technology that was founded in 1979.
It was reorganized under the name of Amesys in 2004 and was taken over by the French technology company Bull in 2010.
In 2011, a French-based NGO, FIDH, made a complaint regarding cases of complicity of torture [1]. In 2013, Amesys divested its EAGLE System to another company, Nexa Technologies. EAGLE is now being developed and marketed by a group of former Amesys employees led by Stéphane Salies, a former Bull director [2].
Portfolio
The EAGLE System allows government agencies to analyse web traffic, store the data and process it for later use by police or intelligence agencies.
EAGLE is based on Deep Packet Inspection technology and can analyse all kinds of web-related activities. The Amesys documentation lists the various kinds of online activity that can be inspected, including email (SMTP, POP, IMAP as well as webmail), Voice over IP, different chat protocols as well as http-web traffic and search engine queries.
Amesys involvement in Libya
Amesys products have been detected in Libya, where the company had a contract with Gaddafi’s secret police. During a raid on offices of the secret police, Wall Street Journal reporters found EAGLE System manuals as well as individual files on Libyan citizens carrying the EAGLE logo [4] [5].
Those spied on by the government included the Libyan journalist Khaled Mehiri. The Wall Street Journal reported [6] that the secret police had for months used Amesys tools to monitor Mehiri’s emails (including his correspondence with Al Jazeera) and Facebook posts, printing out messages and storing them.
In January 2011, as the Arab Spring was peaking in neighbouring Tunisia and unrest was building in Libya, Mehiri was summoned by intelligence officials and pressured not to publish statements by leading anti-Gaddafi activists. The surveillance continued thereafter. Fearing for his family’s safety, he went into hiding for several months until the end of the war.
The role of Amesys in Libya is currently being investigated for complicity in torture in France as a result of a lawsuit brought by the Paris-based human rights NGO, FIDH, which is acting for five Libyan citizens who were spied on with the EAGLE System. [7]
“The court of appeal has confirmed that there was sufficient evidence to start investigating this matter, despite the road blocks erected by the Paris prosecutor’s office, which was obviously reluctant to allow an impartial and independent inquiry,” said Patrick Baudouin, FIDH honorary president, FIDH legal counsel and head of its legal action group.
In september 2011, Amesys made a press release related to the information published by several media regarding its activities in Libya. [8]
Contacted by RWB on the 06th March of 2013, Amesys had not replied at the moment we published this report
