Security Officers, Dubai
Candidate must possess the following criteria:
• Proficient in English language, both written and oral. Arabic speaking is an asset.
• Must have at least 1 year experience in a similar role or environment.
• Trained in First Aid, or undertake certified first aid training within six months after starting service.
• Have a clean record sheet in relation to offences recorded in or outside the United Arab Emirates.
• Must hold or undergo Dubai Police Training Certificate, and be registered with Dubai Police.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Policing of Hotel Property and its clients.
Patrolling and reporting of issues noted throughout the property.
Advising and supporting Hotel Management during any crisis.
Responding correctly to criminal offences/activities affecting the hotel, its employees and clients.
Liasing with emergency services, Government and Local Government representatives.
To be fully conversant with Operational Procedures and Guidance notes in manual held in the Security Office.
To be fully conversant with the Unican lock system ‘Security’ related procedures.
To be fully conversant with the Phoenix Service Units and opening procedures.
To be fully conversant with Lost & Found procedures.
To attend any training sessions as and when required.
To ensure a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance at all times.
To comply with any reasonable instructions issued by management.
To be fully conversant with the hotel fire and emergency procedures.
To generally promote and ensure good inter-departmental relations.
To display a pleasant manner and positive attitude at all times and to promote a good company image to guests and colleagues.
