MTN Afghanistan is the subsidiary company of MTN Group operating in 21 countries with a subscriber base of over 150 Millions. MTN provides GSM services in Afghanistan. We are looking for qualified and experienced candidates to fill the vacant position(s).
Job SummaryAs mentioned below:
Duties and ResposibilitiesThe Security Coordinator will be responsible for the day to day implementation and management of security measures on ground level. Specific duties and responsibilities should include but are not limited to the following
• Receive and execute instructions from the MTNA Safety and Security Manager.
• Supervising the operation and daily running of the Security Control Room.
• Regularly visit all MTN buildings, warehouses and network installations to inspect and ensure proper deployment serviceability and maintenance of:
o Security guards
o Security equipment
o Emergency equipment
o Policies and procedures
• Ensure that security procedures e.g. access control are implemented and effective.
• Constantly evaluate security systems and procedures to ensure applicability and functionality
• Liaise directly with security contractors
• Investigate security related incidents
• Compile and submit regular security reports to the Safety and Security Manager.
• Assist with the implementation of Emergency Evacuation Procedures
Qualification: The Security Coordinator must be a professional individual who has the following expertise, experience, qualifications and attributes:
Education:
• Baccalaureate, Bachelor will be a plus
• Good communication skills in English & local languages
Experience:
• A Recognised Military or Police background with relevant experience with:
o Explosives identification and ordinance
o Weapons handling
o Defensive strategies
• Experience in the private security sector:
o Security guard management (man guarding)
