I'm Tom Richmond, the Managing Director of The Security Advisor site.

I'm ex Royal Military Police Close Protection Unit and a full time consultant in protective services for Control Risks.

The Security Advisor site addresses some of the issues facing the security industry, particularly raising standards, whilst offering information and a service that helps users gain employment or progress their career.

The site’s review function allows users to read reviews on companies and courses prior to booking training and then review courses once complete.

The site has the most comprehensive guides to CV's, gaining employment or progressing your career available in the security industry, a package worth £100. In addition to this The Security Advisor also provides world class employment products and is pleased to announce the launch of the new £50 CV, one of the most competitively priced CV's available anywhere on the internet.

For companies, The Security Advisor offers the opportunity to upload courses onto one site making it easier for site users to research and book training. In addition to this with a company profile, companies can message site users to let them know about training available and any last minute offers to help fill courses. By letting your students know about the CV and employment package on the site it goes some way in offering the aftercare to help them into employment once they complete your courses.

The Security Advisor currently provides CV and employment briefs free of charge by video link to courses for training providers throughout Europe and the Middle East, which can be arranged through the site’s contact tab. Advertising with The Security Advisor, is free until 2014!!

If you would like any advice on CV's and employment or further information on the site please get in touch through this forum or www.thesecurityadvisor.co.uk follow us on Twitter @T_Security_A
