CPO Image
Does the image you portray change depending on the client/principal you are working with? Is there a difference between the Corporate/Executive and Celebrity world?
I have always liked to wear my hair very short , I`m starting to go a bit thin on top and in the future the `Friar Tuck` look is not something i will be going for! How is short hair received by clients? Obviously i`m not a thug and wouldn`t wish to portray this image. I presume in the Celebrity world it wouldn`t be too much of a problem but what about corporate/business side of CP?

CP is CP, no matter what environment we work in however, yes there is a difference between the celebrity and corporate/executive world.
They are actually 2 different worlds and the CPO need to adapt to each environment.
I have worked in both and I always adapt to each one.
It is quite clear that a 6ft tall BG with a shaven head, a head and neck tattoo would not be able to work in the exec/corporate environment.
Even with a suit, the BG would stand out a mile.
Luckily I have no tats on my head or neck so I can work in the celeb environment in a t-shirt and display my tats and fit in, and when I am in a suit I also fit in and don't attract attention.
Regarding the shaved head, I would not advise it, if you are thinning then yes go for it, people can easily tell when someone has hair and is deliberately shaving it or when someone is thinning.
But even when thinning, don't go for the razor shave, use no guard on the clippers.

Thanks Ted.
The tats shouldn`t be a problem for me either , upper arms only.
My hair is usually grade 1 or 2 , a bit longer this time of year as i usually grow a `winter coat`!

Re: CPO Image
Whatever you do, don't go for this new type of hair tattoo, it looks dreadful, the guys look like aliens.
