The National Crime Agency (NCA) has the vital mission of leading the UK’s fight to cut serious and organised crime. We use innovative approaches and ground-breaking techniques to arrest and prosecute criminals causing serious harm to the public.
NCA Experienced Intelligence Officers
Salary: £24,717 - £30,323 (Negotiable subject to skills & experience)
Locations: London, Tolworth, Stevenage, Birmingham, Calder, Sheffield, Warrington, Belfast, Kent. (London weighting of £3,194 applies to London posts)
Additional Benefits: include season ticket loans, flexible working, generous annual leave entitlement, parental leave, Cycle to Work scheme, childcare vouchers, generous contributory pension scheme, free on site gym access at some sites and professional development schemes.
We are looking for dedicated individuals with relevant and recent experience to join the agency and support our mission. You must have recent experience in a law enforcement/national security/intelligence environment. You will have experience of exploiting cross-source data (for example communications, digital, financial or open source data) to support proactive and reactive intelligence developments. You will have experience in gathering and evaluating information, and using a variety of tools and techniques to create intelligence analysis products. You will be experienced in making recommendations to support decision making, for evidential or intelligence purposes or to inform tactical or strategic decision-making. You will also have experienced in handling multiple types of intelligence and information from a number of sources and using such material to create and disseminate meaningful intelligence reporting and products.
Organised crime never sleeps, and our operations are 24/7, meaning sometimes you will have to deploy at short notice, work on-call and shifts and travel extensively. The techniques used by organised criminals are continually evolving and as such, you will be involved in help to develop techniques and capabilities to ensure we stay one step ahead.
