Introduction - Phil Banks

Hi,

My name is Phil Banks and I am currently working within the Private Security Industry and have done for almost a decade. During this time I have gained valuable experience operating at all levels varying from lone working static security guarding, providing routine and regular patrols to delivering Asset Protection, Corporate, Events and Festival Security through to Door Supervision, expanding my skill set to include Close Protection, after completing a Close Protection and Advanced Surveillance course with Argus Europe Ltd, in August 2011, also completing training in Private Investigation.

Since completing the course I have created a security based business Heimdal Security Services and gained employment on various security details throughout the UK, within these roles I have gained extensive experience of volatile conflict situations, threat perception and risk analysis. The main focus of my work post course has included UK Close Protection operations, residential security, asset protection and the transportation of high value items and small short term surveillance type tasks.

My aim is to continue to network effectively and develop my experience and skill set by seeking and been open to new experiences and ventures ultimately looking to expand into a career CPO role and would welcome help and advice on methods of achieving my aims.

I look forward to speaking with the various members in hopefully the not too distant future If I can be of help or assistance to anybody in anyway please do not hesitate to ask..

Good to see some postings and a bit of life on CPD and interaction.

Seems a lot of people at present are watching. Probably a bit shy as the forum is new but its all good up to now and the forum isn't even one month old and already has over 100 registered users.

Certainly looks like it is going to be a good resource and networking point if used properly, site looks good Ted well done!!

The aim of course is to get many discussions going so we can share intel and also to provide jobs and tasks for as many members as possible.

Sounds ideal, always an added bonus when the members are vetted certainly formed part of my decision to join.
